1. Who we are
SecurityMe is a platform that connects companies that need security services with qualified security guards. This policy explains which personal data we process when you use the SecurityMe website, the guard portal and the company portal, why we process it, and which rights you have.
2. Data we process
Account data: name, email address, phone number, preferred language and password (stored only in encrypted form).
Guard profile data: date of birth, address, nationality, identity and work-permit documents, certificates, qualifications, languages and experience.
Payroll and tax data needed to pay guards: tax class, tax ID, social and health insurance details, pension insurance choice and bank details (IBAN).
Work data: project assignments, shifts, clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, clock-in location, missing-punch requests and payroll records.
Company data: company name, contact persons, legal, tax and billing information, projects and invoices.
Technical data: log files, device and browser information, and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
3. Why we process it
To create and manage your account and to let you use the platform (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To match guards with projects, plan shifts, record attendance and calculate pay.
To meet legal obligations such as tax, social-security and record-keeping duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To keep the platform secure and prevent misuse (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Location data
When a guard clocks in or out, the device location at that moment is recorded to confirm presence at the project site. Location is not tracked at any other time.
5. Who receives your data
Companies see the name and working times of the guards assigned to their projects. We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, file storage, email delivery and payroll processing, bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as statutory retention periods require, for example six to ten years for tax and payroll records. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
8. Contact
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us using the details on our Contacts page. We may update this policy; when we do, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
